Anybody interested in coming to the new playground at Mill Creek on Monday at 10? The kids have just finished their last (I think) VBS of the summer and I'd love to get them together in a few playdates. Since I have no money and no gas, thought I'd suggest our playground. If it rains, we can always play at my house.

I will be busy before 4th of July but will be at the Library thereafter if you'd like to meet us there.

If we do get together, I could coordinate with the libraian perhaps our kids being read to or I could read to the kids if you all will help with the younger ones. I'll ask the libraian if they have a room we could use.

We could exchange info there as well for future play dates and not publicize our addresses or numbers online. (Yes, I read the warning...haven't been here long enough to know about that but better safe than sorry!!!)

I am also going to check if my church has the facility to let us use for play dates. I was going to do a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group but right now I would need help with that. It's an undertaking and I am still getting to know our new church family and the area.

I'd like to also meet regularly, at least once a week and would love to host something at my home. Let me know if anyone is interested. We could meet at chick-fil-a to plan it.

Jacob's 2nd Birthday Party!!

You are invited to Jacob's Birthday party!

When: June 21, 2008 - Saturday
Time: 3pm - 5pm (or whenever you'd like to leave)
Place: Jacob's House and maybe the pool. (Mandy when does our pool open?)
Theme: CARS! Not the movie, but just cars in general.

We will have pizza, cake, drinks, and some snacks.

Please RSVP by June 18th so I know how much food to have.
